Jourdanton Little League Minutes
June 15, 2006
The meeting was called to order at approximately 6:47 p.m.
Nine Board Members were present to include: Liesl Hons, Rita Munoz, Oscar Munoz, David Soward, Jennifer Carrasco, Rebecca Alviso, David Alviso, Lupe Vacca and Deanna Higginbotham.
Discussed the tournament, scheduling and concession stand workers.
David S. gave a tournament program update in that all is going well and several ads have been sold.
Oscar is scheduling a workday for this coming Saturday. The pitching rubber is broke and needs repaired or replaced. Liesl will have Gerald order a replacement.
David S. will have small signs made for tournament.
Rebecca is ordering supplies for concession stand. Liesl advised Big Red is furnishing a soda fountain trailer. Deanna is ordering tattoos to sell at tournament.
Rita advised that to rent four port-o-potties will cost $240.00 for 2 ˝ weeks through Max’s.
Rita updated the Board on large signs. Liesl will order large signs from Dennis Jasik. Two barricades will be needed for tournament. Liesl advised that the police should be called if any person is ejected from the tournament.
Liesl advised that girls were needed for a Junior team.
Liesl will ask Tammy to schedule concession stand workers. PA system needs help. Rebecca will ask her son to assist with hooking it up.
Next meeting was scheduled for June 22, 2006. The appointed committees need to meet and report back on June 15th as well.
Deanna Motioned to adjourn. Rebecca 2nd. Motion carries unanimously. Meeting was adjourned.
