Jourdanton Little League Minutes
March 2, 2005
The meeting was called to order at approximately 7:15 p.m.
Ten Board Members were present to include: Mark Gawlik, Liesl Hons, Gerald Zuhlke, Daphne Shelton, Jaime Ramirez, Rita Munoz, Oscar Munoz, Karen Pesek, Joseph Meyer and Tammy Blalock.
Also in attendance were Grady Schorsch, Leann Loza, Adrian Caloss, Tom Foster, Pete Herrera, Harvey Lyssy, Mike Hurt, Richie Gentry, Dan Higginbotham, Keith Higginbotham and Orlando Carrasco, Coach Ingram, Coach Burkholder, Coach Zamzo and Tommy Tymrak.
Liesl recommended Tom Foster as a manager for a Tee-Ball team. Joseph Motioned to accept the President’s recommendation. Jaime 2nd. Motion carries unanimously.
Liesl advised the Board that Mark Gawlik has resigned as manager for a Major Baseball team due to conflicts with work schedule. Liesl recommended Richie Gentry for a Major Baseball manager. Mark Motioned to remove Richie as the Junior Baseball manager, accept the President’s recommendation that he manage a Major Baseball team and accept Mark Gawlik’s resignation as manager in that same division. Jaime 2nd. Motion carries unanimously.
Liesl welcomed all the managers to the meeting and introduces Board members present.
Coaches Zamzo, Burkholder and Ingram gave a presentation on baseball fundamentals. Tommy Tymrak gave a presentation on First Aid. Grady Schorsch gave a presentation on Little League rule changes.
Liesl reviewed all of the documents in each of the managers’ binders and reminded each member about the scorekeeper’s clinic that Pleasanton is hosting on March 19.
Gerald Motioned to adjourn the meeting. Daphne S. 2nd. Motion carried unanimously. Meeting was adjourned at approximately 9:27 p.m.
