JLL to Hold Mandatory Managers’ Meeting

On February 27, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Jourdanton Elementary Library, the Jourdanton Little League will hold a mandatory managers’ meeting. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss local League policies and procedures, Little League policies and procedures, local playing rules, inter-league playing rules, safety and first aid, Little League insurance, manager’s responsibilities, team mom/dad responsibilities, picture day and opening day ceremonies. The Board members will also be able to answer questions for any other concerns the managers may have.
At this meeting, managers will also be given their official team binder and a copy of the Little League Rule Book and Little League Operating Manual if you have not yet received these. In addition, playing equipment will be handed out.
A special thanks goes out to the Palo Alto Silica Sand Company in support of the 2004 Capitol Improvement Project.
The League is still actively pursuing its goals for the 2004 Capitol Improvement Project. Much work has been done already to accomplish this long list of improvements, but the League is still in need of many contributions. If you are interested in contributing, in any capacity, to the Jourdanton Little League in regard to the 2004 Capitol Improvement Project, please call our League President, Liesl Hons, at 769-9223 or log on to the League’s web site at www.jourdantonlittleleague.com for a detailed list of the League’s needs. Your name and/or your business’s name will be placed on our web site and will also be placed on a commemorative sign recognizing contributors at each of our playing fields to be seen for many years. Any contributions, monetary or otherwise, will be greatly appreciated and provide the much needed resources the League needs to accomplish the 2004 Capitol Improvement Project.
