Jourdanton Little League to Hold Registration
The Jourdanton Little League is planning to hold registration for league players on Saturday, January 24 in the Jourdanton High School Gym from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and again, on Monday, January 26 in the Jourdanton Elementary Library from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Registration is available to any child living within the Jourdanton Independent School boundaries and between the ages of 5 and 18. A child who will turn 5 on or before July 31, 2004 is eligible to play during this season.
The cost for registration is $35.00 for one child, $60.00 for two children and $25.00 per child for families of 3 or more players who will register. Each registered player will need an original or certified copy of their birth certificate and two proofs of residency. Proofs of residency can be a copy of the parent’s driver’s license, a utility bill or any correspondence from a government entity. All proofs of residency must be addressed to a parent and must contain a physical address.
During these registration dates, the Jourdanton Little League will also be accepting Volunteer Applications for adults wishing to manage or coach within the league, or volunteer with the league in any other capacity. If you are interested in managing a team, the Volunteer Form must be delivered to the league by February 2, as managers for the 2004 season will be recommended and approved at the February 4 meeting.
All registration and volunteer forms can be found at the league’s web site at www.jourdantonlittleleague.com. Although the forms cannot be submitted to the league on-line, they may be filled out on-line, printed and brought to registration to shorten the time needed to register players.
