Jourdanton Little League History Jourdanton Little League has been in existence since 1957 and serves as a place for about 200 children to learn the fundamentals of baseball/softball each year.
The Jourdanton Little League has only had two homes in its history. The first playing fields were located where the Jourdanton High School softball field is located now. This block of land was covered in mesquite trees when Little League fever struck Jourdanton. Henry Schorsch and Paul Breitkreutz were instrumental in carrying out most of the work to ready the playing fields. <Read More>
2004 Little League Volunteer of the Year Congratulations to Mrs. Rebecca Alviso! She was named the Little League Volunteer of the Year and attended the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvia to receive this very honorable award!!!
Choosing from a list of volunteers submitted from over 7,100 local leagues across the nation isn’t an easy task for Little League Baseball, either.
